A sculptural pair of Orrefors “Olympiade” glass candleholders, designed by Lars Hellsten for Olympic Games Los Angeles 1984.
These striking pieces showcase beautifully layered clear glass, where subtle internal strata create depth and movement within the form. Fine air bubbles are naturally suspended throughout the glass, catching the light and revealing the handcrafted process behind each candleholder.

The textured surface contrasts elegantly with smoother inner planes, giving the glass an almost icy, architectural presence. Solid, heavy, and perfectly balanced, the design reflects Orrefors’ mastery of Scandinavian art glass and ceremonial design.
